These fabrics are sourced directly from traditional fabric merchantswho are the masters of traditional craft. Sometimes the fabric dictates the sort of garment you can make and at Fabcurate, you will notice that happening with you quite a lot! To top it all we are based out of Surat, Gujarat which is the textile capital of the country. The best yarn production, weaving, processing and even embroidery happen in Surat. Always adaptive to the changes in the latest trends, the city has never failed torespond to the changing preferences of people.

  3. 03 BaghPrint Bagh's impression has its origins in Sindh, which is now part of Pakistan. Bagh printing is essentially block printing, a technique practiced for several centuries. The impression of Bagh essentially involved blocks carved on motifs representing flora such as jasmine, mushroom, leheriya, and so on.

  4. 04 Banarasi Banarasi silk fabrics are still considered to be one of the finest traditional fabrics. It has actually been well known for its design and gold as well as silver brocade or the “Zari”. The special characteristics of these fabrics are their designs, which are Mughal inspired. It has often been decorated with complex floral motifs as well as foliage patterns.

  6. Ikat Ikat is an elaborate dying process done with silk or cotton fabrics. The final result is a piece of fabric bathed and sparkling in colored patterns. Most of the time, Orissa Ikat is linked to sarees. The ikat patterns are dyed and bonded into the yarns before the cloth is woven. This distinguishes it from the Tie and Dye process where the cloth is originally woven.
