A slight eye injury can cause you great harm, for which you may have to pay a huge price. Eye injuries can be caused by a number of things, from accidentally forcefully splashing water into your eyes to damaging eyes.<br><br>According to studies, there are about 50 million cases of eye injury worldwide every year. Eyes are made up of delicate tissues that require special protection. Not all eye injuries are serious, but it is better to be safe and keep the eyes healthy, as some injuries can permanently affect your vision.

  2. MOST COMMON 7 EYE INJURIES • Swelling - Swelling of the eyes and eyelids is one of the most common eye problems. This is usually due to the impact on the eye. Some people take swelling very casually, although what looks like just eye inflammation can sometimes be extremely dangerous. • Corneal Abrasions - It is also known as scratched eye. It occurs when a dust, piece of wood, sand or any other particle gets into the eye and scratches the cornea. • Chemical Burns- Chemical burns are extremely harmful to the eyes. That's why products also have warning labels like "Avoid contact with eyes."

This condition may seem more serious than it actually is. • Hyphemas- This is another type of eye hemorrhage. It occurs between the cornea and the iris and is very serious. If it is not treated in time, it can cause permanent vision loss. • UV Radiation causing photosensitivity- The UV rays of the sun are very harmful for the eyes as it can cause eye irritation.
