  2. Define migration • Human migration involves the movement of people . Most migrations are over a long distance for at least one year. • There are two types of migration international and internal . Statue of liberty

  3. Forced Removal • Forced removal happens when a country’s when a government forces people to go from a place where they have been living to another place.

  4. Trail of tears • This event is known as the Trail of Tears. The term is used in particular to describe the journey of the Cherokee Indians. • In the early 1800s the Cherokee got along better with the United States than most other Native American groups.
