  3. Purpose of WFA • To evaluate the effectiveness of overall equal employment opportunity efforts; • To track trends in employment practices; • To evaluate specific deficiencies to determine if non-job-related factors or practices are impacting equity in hiring

  4. Who Participates? • All state agencies with 50 or more employees conduct workforce analysis • All state agencies and departments establish upward mobility goals or offer a justification for exemption • All state agencies below 80% of the parity figure for representation of persons with disabilities establish hiring goals for persons with disabilities.

  5. How Did We Get Here? • Any relevant historical information • Original assumptions that are no longer valid

  6. Available Options • State the alternative strategies • List advantages & disadvantages of each • State cost of each option

  7. Recommendation • Recommend one or more of the strategies • Summarize the results if things go as proposed • What to do next • Identify action items
