Family Policy Agenda 1.  We call on the Government to reverse the funding bias from Out-of-home Care towards Early Intervention and Prevention. 2.  We call on the Government to provide Out-of-home Care to those children for when it is the best alternative, in quality, accredited Out-of-home Care provided in the non-Government sector. Family Policy Agenda 3.  We call on the Government to recognise the value and contribution of locally based, generalist Family Support Services by a significant funding increase to make up for 15years of funding neglect. 4.  We call on the Government to support the35,000 children whose families receive support from Family Support Services by making these funding decisions NOW so that we don’t disadvantage another generation of children and young people.
