Junior Officiating ABC’s • 14 and Under teams, the head or assistant coach is always the 1st Referee • 15 and Older teams, the head or assistant coach is always court side • Coaches required to take the online clinics for 1st & 2nd Referee, Scorer, Line Judge • Player online clinics for 13 and under age: 2nd Referee, Scorer, Line judge • Player online clinics for 14 and above age: 1st & 2nd Referee, Scorer, Line Judge • NEW THIS YEARAdult 2nd Referee at all national events (Qualifiers, Bid Events, Nationals)

Certification Requirements • Complete appropriate online Clinic • Be evaluated for the position1st Referee, 2nd Referee, Scorer • Scorers should be evaluated on a deciding set situation (Court Change) • Paperwork submitted to Area Trainer • Completed Evaluation Sheet • Attach Score Sheet for Scorers • Area Trainer will set member status on HOAonline

  7. Removing Points • Team B illegal player is discovered in Set 2 at 14-11 (Team B leading) • The illegal player entered Set 2 when Team B had 10 points • Points 11,12,13,14 are removed from Team B score

Recording Liberos • Set 1 –Two(2) Liberos Designated • Copy numbers into Libero boxesof all sets on the Line-up Sheet • Copy number into Libero boxes of all non-deciding sets on the Score Sheet and Libero Control Sheet • Set 1 – Zero(0) or One(1) Libero Designated • Draw an "X" in the second Libero box of all sets on the Line-Up Sheet • Draw an "X" in the second Libero box of all non-deciding sets on the Score Sheet and Libero Control Sheet
