  2. Questions You Need to Answer • Who was this person? • What special characteristics made this person unique? • What problems did he/she overcome? • How did he/she change the world? • 1 Quote

  3. Organization of Slides • Title page-1 slide. • Answer the five questions about your figure using one slide per question-5 slides.

  4. Slide #1 • Who was this person? • Give birth and death dates (timeline). • What was their life like? • What were their parents like? Childhood? Education? Etc.? • What were their accomplishments? • 1 graphic per text slide.

  5. Slide #2 • What special characteristics made this person unique? • What was his/her talent, gift? • How was the talent or gift enhanced by family or circumstances? • 1 graphic per text slide.

  6. Slide #3 • What problems did he/she overcome? • Family • Social (rising above or giving up social position-upper class or lower class) • Economic (financial hardship) • Physical handicaps • Political (opposing current government) • 1 graphic per text slide.

  7. Text Slide #4 • How did he/she change the world? • What did he or she do to change the world? • What were the long term effects of his or her actions? • How did he or she affect your life today? • 1 graphic per text slide.

  8. Text Slide #5 • Quote • Give at least 1 quote that is attributed to that person that shows their “spirit” • 1 graphic per text slide.

  9. Saving Your Presentation • Save your PPT in the same way you save a Word document. • Give it a name and save it as soon as you start it; save it to the H drive. • When you have completed the project, upload it to Moodle
