  1. Lewis and Clark ExpeditionHistoryFourth Grade Chelsea Coday Make sure URL’s are linked to their resource pages (hyperlink) and make sure you have the required evaluation/rubric.

  2. Introduction • You are traveling on an expedition with Lewis and Clark. You will be exploring land west of the Mississippi River. You and your partner will be on Lewis and Clark’s research team and will need to pick two animals you will encounter on your trip. You will become an expert on your chosen animals.

  3. Task • You and your partner will choose two “new” animals that Lewis and Clark encountered on their journey. Before you and your partner guide us on your expedition, introduce us to your animals. You will find your research on these animals by searching the internet.

  4. Process • Day 1: You and your partner will use Kidspiration to make a web of animals. You should include pictures of the animals. • Day 2: Once you have completed your web, you and your partner will choose your two animals. Once chosen you will use the internet to find: • The name of the animal, what family it belongs to, size, and what it eats. • Make sure you record your information. When you are done researching you two will create a power point presentation. You will have to present this to the rest of the class.
