  3. Les verbes Verbs are a key part of every sentence in everylanguage. A verbis an action word. For example: I see I read I write

  4. Les verbes Whenwe use a verbwemostly use a noun or a pronoun to show who carries out the actionSophieiswriting(noun) Iamwriting(pronoun) The teacheriswriting(noun)

  5. Les verbes In French verbs have differentendings The subject (the nounor the pronoun) tells youwhichendingisneeded. A subjectpronounisusedinstead of a noun. I see the film – I = pronoun (subject) He sees the film – He = pronoun (subject) Notice how the spelling of the verbsee changes to suit the subjectpronoun.

  7. Le pronomon Oncan translate as ‘one’ or ‘we’ or ‘people in general’. En France, on aime les croissants– In France, people love croissants

  8. Le pronomon On usually translates as ‘we’. It is used very often by French people instead of nous. On regarde le film – We are watching the film

  9. On… Let’s… On + verb? and raise your voice = Let’s… On regarde le film? – Let’s watch the film.

  18. What is the difference between nousand on? Nous… On… Réponse: Both mean ‘we’ but on takes the same ending as il and elle. On can also mean ‘one’, ‘people in general’ or ‘let’s’ when you use it with a verb and raise your voice at the end of the sentence.
