LOG 340 replaces LOG 236 (PBL) with a one-week , 300 Level Course Seven exercises over the 4 ½ day course One full day dedicated to Business Case Analysis (BCA) Supported by proposed Level III CLL Modules (BCA, ILA) Reflects Product Support Manager (PSM) Guidebook, Product Support BCA Guidebook and Independent Logistics Assessment (ILA) Process Guidebook Aligns with LOG 201, LOG 235 and LOG 350 Transitions from TLO/ELO construct to Competency/Proficiency construct Incorporates a Student Assessment Overview

LOG 340 Instructor Pilot held 13-17 December, 2010 Students were DAU Instructors DAU comments provided to contractor for incorporation Updated lessons due back by mid-January LOG 340 Student Pilot scheduled for 24-28 January, 2011 30 Students include subject matter experts from the military, civilian workforce and industry All services represented LOG 340 2nd Student Pilot possible in April 2011 Validation by typical students Fielding planned for 1 October, FY12 Status

LOG 340 is a new Level III course under development It will do the following: Replace LOG 236 Satisfy the new HCS competencies Incorporate a Student assessment Provide information/exercises related to new OSD policy Working the LOG 236/LOG 340 transition LOG 340 to be fielded on 1 October, FY12 On track to become a key contributing factor in qualifying the LCL and new PSM Summary
