  1. Dermal Fillers Restylane, Teosyal and other Hyaluronic acid products Dermal fillers are used to plump up the skin to restore what collagen and fat has been lost as the skin ages. Dermal fillers work with the body’s own hyaluronic acid to help smooth and fill any lines on the face, this results in a fresher more health look to the skin. Dermal filler is injected into the skin, a very fine needle is used to inject just under the skins surface. The products contain an amount of local anaesthetic to eliminate discomfort and reduce pain. Additional anaesthetics can also be administered if required. Immediate results can be seen although the full effect of the treatment may take up to a week, giving the skin time to settle down.
