Education • You must first take a pre dentistry course at a university or college. Then you must go and take another 4 year course at a dentistry school.
Duties and responsibilities • The duties of a dentist may vary depending on where or who you work with. Mainly your duties are to fix and clean peoples teeth.
Salary • The entry level pay for a dentist is around 98,200. But an experienced dentist may make upwards of 152,410 a year.
Work conditions • Work conditions are generally nice • You may have to work with sometimes tough people. • Your patients sometimes will be little children or old people who do not like people messing in their mouths.
Where can you get training • You can get pre-dentistry studies at schools like Iowa state university and university of siouxfalls.
Personal qualifications • You need to be able to be sociable (because you’ll have to talk to your patients.) • You have to have nimble hands to be able to do small task in others mouths. • If you run your own business you need to have a decisive go get it attitude.
