Clinicians' Perspectives on Addressing Climate Change in Healthcare

Survey data from U.S. clinicians employed in hospitals and health systems indicate a majority view addressing climate change as important at both organizational and personal levels. Clinicians feel their institutions should play a role in mitigating environmental impact, with a focus on waste reduction, energy conservation, and emergency preparedness. The findings also suggest that organizational commitment to sustainability could influence clinician job decisions.
