  3. Gradation • The act is rendering from one tint or shade to another gradually is gradation.

  4. Balance • Balance is a principle dealing with the arrangement of the elements in an artwork so, they would be symmetrical or asymmetrical.

  5. Unity • Using the elements in the artwork to develop a feeling of completeness.
