The girl was pouting. Melissa’s lower lip stuck out from her face as she shifted her eyes to the left. I knew from the way her arms were folded tightly across her red shirt, she was not happy with me. The only thing missing was a big tear dripping down her face.
The dog was mean. The ferocious dog rolled his eyes back in his head until all I could see was the whites of his eyes. Long, jagged fangs hung from the inside of his pinkish gray mouth. He snapped at the ball I threw sending a wad of slimy, saliva across the room.
