Semper Avantiis aregional organisation that focuse on international work with young people, including youth exchanges, volunteer service and youth initiatives. Our main aims are: • to promote international co-operation and uderstanding among young people from different • countries and cultures; • to provide equal access to education, culture and professional experience for young people with • disabilities, the unemployed and youth from rural areas; • to encourage involvment of young people in cultural events; • to promote Poland and Lower Silesia in Europe;

  3. S e m p e r A v a n t i means„ a l w a y s a h e a d ” ! The main undertaking of our association are: • International Youth Exchanges – artistic and educational workshops. We organize • international youth exchanges that encourage young people to overcome prejudices and learn • more about other countries and cultures; • Voluntary Service – national and international. The idea of the volunteer service is • almost non–existent in post–comunist Poland. Our main aim is to promote the idea of • volunteerisim among young people by providing educational programs, workshops and as well as • volunteering opportunities both, in Poland and abroad. Currently we are working on local projects • which include co–operations with local museum, theatres, an organisation that works with • disadventaged youth and center for children with brain disease. • Conferences, Training, Seminars – for youth workers and youth group leaders • from all over Europe. We prepare seminaries, trainings, and study visits in Poland and other • places. They have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about working with young people, • and establish contacts for international projects;

  4. S e m p e r A v a n t i means„ a l w a y s a h e a d ” ! Our main project is St. John’s Parade, which takes place in June from the center of Wroclaw to the Slodowa Island, where wreathes are thrown onto the water, according to the ancient slavic traditions. Young people from many European countries get acquainted with our culture and people from Lower Silesia have the opportunity to see artists from other countries. Our Parade is a symbol for the peaceful co-existence of many different cultures in Europe from Portugal to Georgia.
