Unique and Compelling Educational Resources • A Communication ToolStudents can use the Internet to communicate with experts in various fields, or with other classrooms and students from around the world.  • Access Real-Time DataStudents can access real-time information such as weather images, data from ships at sea, and hourly air quality readings.

Unique and Compelling Educational Resources • Publish Student WorkStudents can publish their work online where the whole world can see it, comment on it, and interact with them about it.  • Access Primary SourcesStudents can access primary sources that include authentic materials from the past such as letters, diaries, photographs, and maps.

  6. Why Use RWLOs With Future Teachers? To encourage future teachers to: • organize and criticize data and information • develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills   • build teams and engage in group work   • call on the knowledge of others to assist in their learning
