Funny, friendly, amusing characters, exciting adventures, to have fun, full of love, to be able love and hate, rich imagination, to develop smb.’s mind, to bring up feelings and emotions, make smb. think, thrilling plot, worth reading.

  5. Role-play the situation • Student A: You have read a very interesting book, which you took out from the library. On the way to the library you meet your friend. Tell him/her about your impressions of the book. • Student B: Ask about the book and express your interest in it.

  6. Read the review and choose the correct word My favourite/best thriller from the novelist/journalist Hammond Innes is called/named“The Angry Mountain”. This is the book that really got me interested in reading when I was young and I will always remember/remind it for that. It’s a great example of adventure non-fiction/fiction. The story is so well-written you feel as though you are in the same room as the characters/personalities and the relationships/ relatives between them are brilliantly developed. It is now out of print but you may be able to borrow/lend it from a library/bookshop. It’s a book you will not able to put down until you have finished the last chapter/verse.

It is worth reading. 10.If you like ... (historical novels),... I advise you to read it.
