If you are thinking in go to Venice you can’t leave to go to these places:

The Great Channel:

It’s four kilometers long and divide the city in two parts.

  • St. Mark’s Square:
  • In this square are the most important buildings of Venice and was called “The most beautiful room of Europe” by Napoleon.

Rialto Bridge:

It’s the oldest and the most famous bridge in Venice.

But there you can find many more beautiful and historical places like the Correr museum, churches like St. Marie dellasallute among others.

Transports:

In the old center, the canals serve the function of roads, and almost every form of transport is on water or walking. In Venice there are a lot of forms of transport, for example:

Venetian a language spoken as a native language by over two million people but in general they speak italian

It has a rich and diverse architectural style, the most famous of which is the Gothic style.

Venice is one of the most important tourist destinations in the world, actually in 2006, it was the world's 28th most internationally visited city, with 2.927 million international arrivals that year.

Venice has a Humid subtropical climate, with cool winters and very warm summers.

Suggestions:

The hotels are very expensive so if you want a kind of like cheap hotel is a good idea look for an hotel in Mestre or Lido because it’s near to the principal square like 15 or 20 minutes of far and you can go there in a vaporetto.

If you want to take a tour in a gondola you should negotiate the price it’s between 80 and 120 euros for six people on average

Maybe you should buy a guidebook to know how to arrive to each place there, and also what are the important of them.

You should take into account that the stores there close kind of early, open at 9:00 am and close between 7:00 and 8:00 pm.
