  5. Context: placements for History students • NH&HC is only one of a number of host organisations that take History students on placement  • About 12-20 students per year on other History placements, mostly Aberdeen/shire

  6. Context: Assessment • One option for a 20% assessment within ‘General Historical Problems’ course • Work placement report • Concerns: is this the best fit? • Scope and aims of the course • A useful reflective exercise? • Should placement be open to PY3 students?
