Why Use ICS • Missions require coordination among several different agencies • National movement to ICS in SAR and DR activities • CAP has adopted ICS to better integrate us in multi agency activities - especially DR • In multi-agency activities - CAP teams may not directly report to CAP supervisors ICS Briefing for General ES

  37. Incident Commander • Directs and controls all operations of air and ground units for a specific mission • Responsible for overall safety, efficiency and effectiveness of operation • Maintains liaison with other participating agencies ICS Briefing for General ES
