  3. Tyranny • Definition: Cruel and unjust use of power • Part of Speech: noun • Sentence: “They fought against indifference, against tyranny, and oppression.”

  4. Ostentatiously • Definition: showy • Part of Speech: adverb • Sentence: “Peter is coming from the bedroom, ostentatiously holding a bulge in his coat as if he were holding his cat.”

  5. Disgruntled • Definition: displeased or annoyed • Part of Speech: verb used as an adjective • Sentence: “Dussel sits on the edge of his bed, listening, disgruntled.”
