Revolutionizing Collaboration: Chicago Opens Big Client-Software Associated Services

Update: Open ID OP Chicago reveals plans to launch a variety of client software and services enriching collaboration in 2010. Experimentation and shipping are underway after a successful pilot phase with real data in 2009. Notable features include deep engagement with OWF, OAuth WRAP, and ActivityStreams integration. With the deployment of Portable Contacts, 75 partnerships have been established to enhance activities within Windows Live. Innovation in web IM remains a priority, with future releases focusing on enhanced consent user experience, OAuth WRAP delegation, PoCo contacts, profiles, and expanded ActivityStreams endpoints. The Open ID OP aims for a robust service delivery by 2010 with planned advancements in various areas.
