Beyoncé is an American singer and actress who was born and raised in Houston Texas, She performed in a variety of singing and dancing competitions as a child and became famous in the late 1990’s when she became lead singer of R&B girl group Destiny’s Child, which was managed by her father. Destiny’s child became one of the worlds best selling girl group of all time. Beyoncé then became a solo artist in 2003 when she released her debut album Dangerously in love which confirmed the group had split. This album cover shows that not all artists need to be on the cover of there album in order for it to sell. This cover creates mystery and surprise as you can’t tell what genre the album is and there's no hints as to what it is going to sound like. I like this album cover because its very simple but still has a positive effect on the person. I like how the cover is just black and pink it shows power and confidence,.
Jennifer lopez also known as JLO is an American actress, author, fashion designer, dancer, singer, producer, and songwriter. On JLO’S album she uses herself as the main subject, this helps promote her album as she’s known for being fun, lively and dance music. Jlo’s album is targeted at an older audience as she is clothed in sexy and flirty type clothes that show off her body. The colour red is the main colour on the album this shows that her music is very powerful and she wants to promote confidence and will power to women all over the world.
Demi Lovato is an American actress, singer and song writer who made her first debut as a children's actor in Barney and friends, however Demi is mostly known for her roles on Disney Channel’s original movie Camp Rock. This album promotes natural beauty to young fans of Demi Lovato. This album uses very little colours of black, grey and white. I like this album cover as it is very natural and there is very little colour and the main focus is Demi and it’s very simple.
