  2. Status • 3 working groups set up and active, with 3 more recently established • General meeting scheduled for 23 April 2008 in Lisbon, co-located with the AAMAS conference. • 52 paid members (up 8%), 76 participants • 3 IEEE standards recommendations expected by mid 2010

Current Working & Study Groups • Agents and Web Services Interoperability Working Group (FIPA-AWSI-WG@IEEE.ORG) • Human-Agent Communications Working Group (FIPA-HAC-WG@IEEE.ORG) • P2P Nomadic Agents Working Group (FIPA-P2PNA-WG@IEEE.ORG)Work plan completed. Draft specification available • Review of FIPA Specification Study Group (FIPA-ROFS-SG@IEEE.ORG)

  4. Newly-formed Working Groups • Agent and EDA Working Group (Joint activity with OMG) In progress • Agent Metamodel and Profile Working Group (Joint activity with OMG) Started and submission by mid 2010

Community Service • Three student grants awarded for 13th International Workshop CIA 2009 on Cooperative Information Agents • Sponsor for the Eighth International Conference on AAMAS 2009 (Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems) • Joint meetings between IEEE FIPA and OMG • Liaison discussion with OASIS under way
