  5. S L A I N L A M B STUDY Text 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 2 Timothy 3:1-8. KJB

  6. S L A I N L A M B SUB Texts Act 8:9-11. KJB 2 Corinthian 11:13-15. KJB

  7. S L A I N L A M B SUB Text 9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: 10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. 11And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries. Act 8:9-11. KJB

  8. S L A I N L A M B SUB Text 13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Corinthian 11:13-15. KJB

  9. S L A I N L A M B Familiar, simply acquaints the original but never original. Understanding the operations of a Familiar Christianity is important to differentiate it from true Christianity. It calls for biblical and spiritual expertize to discern true Christianity from a decadent religious system that is nothing but a Familiar Christianity in today’s society. This study series is focused on teaching/unmasking traits of familiar Christianity. Familiar Christianity is a copy, therefore, never Christianity, but a religious form of Christian spirit.

  10. S L A I N L A M B Begins Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

  11. S L A I N L A M B S L A I N L A M B ~ Familiar Christianity ~ Familiar is synonymous with similar, and perfectly played out in the parable of the Wheat and Tares told by Jesus: In this parable, the enemy planted tares which had deceptive similarity of the wheat. Interestingly, both plants were allowed to coexist till a time appointed.

  12. S L A I N L A M B Matthew 13:25,30 30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. 25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

  13. S L A I N L A M B ~ Familiar Christianity ~ Same applies to Familiar Christianity seen today as true Christianity, however, it denies the true power of Christianity. The point here is that this familiar thing is seen as original when it actually is a form of the original.

  14. S L A I N L A M B S L A I N L A M B ~Form of Godliness ~ They are smart to reproduce that which G-D does but with curious acts like Jannes and Jambres. Those spearheading this ‘form of godliness’ would deceive many to enrich their belly, mind high things of life, attack and oppose true Christians and doctrines of the Christian Faith. Present themselves as to be real believers and in talking terms with G-D but are just a form and never Christians. Today is the perilous times warned by Paul, saying that some ‘form of godliness’ would be mistaken for Christianity and pervade the society.

  15. S L A I N L A M B 2 Timothy 3:1-8 8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

  16. S L A I N L A M B S L A I N L A M B ~Form of Godliness ~ Men highly esteem these ‘self-imposed’ men of god who always justify whatever they do, however, they are abominations before our holy G-D. It becomes travesty for the Believers to even refer to them as men of G-D.

  17. S L A I N L A M B Luke 16:15 15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: … 15…for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

  18. S L A I N L A M B S L A I N L A M B ~ Denying the Power ~ allow the seeking of satanic powers for miracles as that would be against the spirit of righteousness. Holiness would not permit loose careless living or Righteousness and holiness are some of the powers of our great Christian Faith. However, familiar Christianity deny these powers. Familiar Christianity never talk about holiness.

  19. S L A I N L A M B 2 Timothy 3:5 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

  20. S L A I N L A M B S L A I N L A M B ~Powers of Familiar Christianity ~ Divination is associated with python (serpentine) spirit. The operations of these powers are such that many confuse for the power of G-D. the apostles would have confused divination for the power of G-D in a young girl who pointed the people to the apostles. These powers are demonic, such like; divination, wizardry, sorcery, and etcetera and operate in some religious gatherings in various guises. The powers of familiar Christianity are not from G-D but APPEARS TO BE. Any demonstrations of power outside the HolySpirit is familiar Christianity. The only truth in the use of Christian powers is in the HolySpirit. It does not always tell a lie; neither does it always tell the truth but the with primary intent to deceive the gullible. Were it not by the leading of the HolySpirit

  21. S L A I N L A M B Act 9:16-17 16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

  22. S L A I N L A M B S L A I N L A M B ~Powers of Familiar Christianity ~ As it was in biblical days so it is in our day. That which G-D should do, been done by another, is a familiar operation. he, therefore, consulted with a familiar spirit who was put in the place of G-D to reveal the outcome of the war. King Saul had lost communications with G-D, and was in urgent need to know if Israel should win if they went to war against Philistines,

  23. 8And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me [him] up, whom I shall name unto thee.11Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.12And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou [art] Saul. S L A I N L A M B 1 Samuel 28:5-8,11-12 7 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. ... 8…and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me [him] up, whom I shall name unto thee. 6 And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets. 8And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: … 7 …And his servants said to him, Behold, [there is] a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. 12And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: … 12 …and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou [art] Saul. 5And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart greatly trembled. 11Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.

  24. S L A I N L A M B S L A I N L A M B ~Powers of Familiar Christianity ~ Wizardry and sorcery are real and well manifest in many religious gatherings we wrongly see as churches today. It is very unfortunate that even true Believers call these angels of light men of G-D as was Simon Magus.

  25. S L A I N L A M B Acts 8:9-11 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 15Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. 13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 9 …and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: 11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries. 9But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, … 14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

  26. S L A I N L A M B S L A I N L A M B ~Powers of Familiar Christianity ~ The powers of familiar Christianityare such that make people run after the voice of these men like they are men of G-D. however, he used sorcery on them and he was never anything close to man of G-D as he was not born again. Their wizardry could sweep off the feet of gullible Believers. However, fact checking Believers hear Jesus’ voice and they follow Him, the voice of angels of light will they not follow. No matter how sweet their voices are, prayerful Believers well rooted in the Scriptures are deaf to these voices or flees from them. Simon magus was seen by the people to be some kind of great man of G-D,

  27. S L A I N L A M B John 18:37 John 10:4-5,27 4And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 37…Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

  28. Study S L A I N L A M B We live in the days of grand deception in the cover of Christianity. 2 Timothy 2:15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth However, deep rooted Believers are never deceived by curious acts, miracles, prophecies, healings, signs, and wonders because they are wrong means for validity as the devil has the power to perform them too and have so performed. Every Believer is expected to rightly divide truth from lies of familiar Christianity. Many run into it and are deceived.
