Indian Sportsperson Saina Nehwal

Saina Nehwal is a famous Indian sports player. She is a professional badminton singles player. She won over twenty international titles which include ten Superseries titles. Saina Nehwal is the first Indian badminton player to have won an Olympic medal. The Government of India conferred the Padma Bhushan award on her and Previously, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and the Arjuna Award were also conferred on her by the government of India.

  2. On 17 March 1990, the Indian badminton player, SainaNehwal was born. Her birthplace is at Hisar district in Haryana.

  3. She studied at Campus School CCS HAU in Hisarand St. Anne’s College in Hyderabad. The little girl began badminton training at the age of 8.

  4. In 2006, the emerging player became the under 19 National. She won the Asian satellite badminton tournament twice.

  5. The government of India honoured her with the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna in 2009. Sainanehwal was praised for her outstanding game with Arjuna Award in the same year.

  6. In 2010, the talented sportsperson was awarded Padma Shri. She achieved the bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics.

  7. Sainanehwal is the first indian to win the silver medal in the world badminton championship. She Attained Padma bhushan in the year 2016.

  8. The Racket player attained the bronze Medal At the Badminton Championship in 2017. in 2018, she won two gold medals in singles and mixed team in the commonwealth games.

  9. In 2019, she defeated P.v. Sindhu to win the national Championship. Sainanehwal Attained the first BWF Super 500 title At the Indonesia Masters.

  10. The Indian Famous became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party on 29 January. She is admired by several youngsters because of her hard work.
