  1. 9/28/10 S.S 2 Why I select this tribe? The Apache’s Region . How the Apaches acquire food? The Apaches (Lipans) The region that the Apaches live in is The Plains. I selected this tribe because I like the way they make their clothes with buffalo hides. They acquired food by hunting and farming for their food. The women planted and harvested crops of corn, beans, pumpkins, and watermelons. By. Deja Gibson The Apaches lived in tipis. Tipis are coned-shaped tents made of poles covered with animal skins. They lived as independent bands. Each band elected its own chief. The Lipans wore deerskin for clothes. To keep them warm in the winter they wrapped themselves in buffalo hide robes. The Lipans hunted buffalo and other animals and sometimes farmed. The bands come together only in times of war or for religious or social ceremonies. How did the Apaches live and what did they live in? Interesting Facts of the Apaches? What did the Apaches were for clothing ? What type of food does the Apaches eat?
