  3. English Meat Pie -INGREDIENTS- The Dough -300 gr. wholewheat flower a pinch of salt; -25 gr. yeast dissolved in 100 ml of water; -80 gr. of salad oil; -3 eggs; -sesami seeds.

  4. The Filling -700 gr. of minced meat (veal if it’s possible); -3 large chopped onions; -a bouquet parsil; -a bouquet of dill; -100 gr. chopped champignons; -salt and black pepper; -25 ml. of salad oil.

  5. First we make the filling: -We take a frying pan and put the salad oil, add the minced meat, the onions, the champignons, the parsil and the dill and also add the salt and pepper. -We fry them on the cooker until the meat and the mushrooms (champignons) are soft stirring from time to time. -We let the mixture cool and start baking the dough.

  6. We take a bowl and mix the flour with the water where we dissolved the yeast and slowly add the salad oil. We knead it well and the dough is left to rest for 30 minutes.

  7. After 30 minutes we take a griddle. We divide the dough into two parts. Take the first one and roll it until it becomes as large as the griddle. We put it in the griddle and then add the filling.

  8. The we beat the 3 eggs and spread them on the filling letting a little for the top of the pie. The second part of the dough will be rolled and stretched to cover the filling. The rest of the eggs will be brushed on the top of the pie and we spread over it sesami seeds.

  9. The pie will be baked in preheated moderately hot oven at 200° for 45 min.
