  2. Meet Meshala • I would like to make a career out of serving people delicious food. The ultimate goal is to someday form a restaurant or be a chef on food network. The sky is the limit and I feel there will be plenty of growth and opportunity in this field.

Catering Service Job description Catering managers plan, organize and develop the food and beverage services of organizations and businesses, whilst meeting customer expectations, food and hygiene standards and financial targets. There is a wide range of jobs in catering management, along with a number of different routes into the industry. Roles include: managing restaurants, bars and other outlets in hotels, resorts or cruise liners; providing catering services at events; and running catering operations in organizations such as hospitals, schools and higher education institutions. Executive Chef Responsibilities: The executive chef will train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities; estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food; select and develop recipes; standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality; establish presentation technique and quality standards; plan and price menus; ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen. The employment and future prospects are also bright for chefs with the industry expanding at a rapid pace. That’s for the best in the line of course.   11. Meshala Shrimp Scampi Secrets Start by chopping 5 cloves of garlic and one large shallot. Sautee the garlic and shallots in 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Let them cook for approximately 2-3 minutes then add the shrimp until they turn pink. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, cayenne, and chili powder. Add the linguine to the boiling water with a handful of salt. Once the shrimp are pink take them out until pasta is ready which will be 8-9 minutes. Deglaze the sauté pan the shrimp were cooked in with the white wine then add the shrimp, shallots, and garlic back to the pan. Take out the linguine and incorporate it into the pan with the rest of the ingredients. Sprinkle in a tablespoon of parsley for flavor and color and reserve the rest of the parsley for garnish.
