  2. OneforAll, Allforone… People around the world have many of the same needs. They share the same feelings about what make life good. People everywhere think about how to keep safe and healthy and how to get along with others.

  6. Some children in other countries made posters to show you how to keep our world a good place to live. How are their ideas like yours? Look at this!!!

  7. The children made these posters to communicate their feelings. Communication is the sharing of ideas. When people get to know one another, they can work together to solve problems.

  8. ParticipationSkills… Think about a problem that children around the world care about. What is the general thinking among them? What are some ways people communicate their needs with each other? How do you think that people can solve problems?

  9. Howtosolveproblems… Acting on your own is showing independence. Many children are interested in helping their communities. For example, Karen was a girl from Sogamoso and she was nine years old, she saw a problem in her neighborhood, el Rosario. Click

  10. The problem was that cars were not stopping for children at crosswalks and children were in danger when going to the school. .. Click

  11. …Then Karen wrote a letter to the magazine of the school, the director of the school read the letter and made a Traffic Safety Commission. Karen was happy because she became a member of the TSC because she proposed a solution for that problem. Click
