Value • What is Value? • Things in life that we hold in high regard • Qualities, characteristics or ideas about which we feel strongly • It affects our decision, goal and behavior • It defines what is of worth, what is beneficial and what is harmful • Value are standards to guide our action, judgment and attitude

  7. Where do we get our values? Our home, School, Society, Friends, Television, Church, Music, Books, Families, Culture, Employers, Time period in which you were raised (50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s), Area you were raised, Etc…

  8. One thousand dollar - $1,000 If you were given a check for $1,000 to do whatever you want, what would you do with it? Conclusion: What you spend the money on has everything to do with what you value
