  2. Each year, PSRC sponsors a holiday card contest. Students from all grade levels design card ideas that can be used for many different occasions the county sponsors.

  7. Anything that is decorative and holiday based…

  8. Holiday related for all…

  9. Ideas can come from anywhere… For instance, this could be a symbol of NC but instead of leaves, maybe feathers could be used to symbolize Robeson County….

  10. Black and White…..

  11. COLOR!

  12. Symbolic

  13. Simple graphics!

  14. Word Art!

  15. Inspiration from Cultural Heritage!

  16. Letters and shapes!

  17. Pattern!

  18. Line art! Positive/Negative space!

  19. RULES: * Use 9x12 paper * Two – Dimensional designs only! * Designs can be drawn with colored pencil, permanent marker or crayon. (Please no pastels or other media that can smear) * Designs can be collage, or painted. * Designs can say “Happy Holidays,” “Season’s Greetings,” or can be words like, “JOY.” (Please no “Merry Christmas” as cards are sent for many things)
