Central computing services Monitor production job streams on MVS ( O/S 390 ) Handle line printer out put and printing to QCC Server Farm (CNS and Client machines: GPU, AFS, ORACLE, WEB, MAIL, etc.) Network Monitor all campus network and internet connections ( Netview ) Provide after hour support for Help Desk and Product Sales Plots Uninterrupted Power Supply Security Tapes, Equipment and Monitor Door Security System. New Technology Co-ordinate installation and removal of equipment in the Computer Centre Provide 24 X 7 operations support for:

  3. Operations work closely with all CNS groups such as: • Network • Production support for : MVS Systems & ASRP, etc.

  4. Client groups which we interact with are as follows: • Registrar, • Library, • Financial Services, • HR, • etc.
