Who is Eligible to use Text Reader? • Students with a current IEP, 504 or PSP taking K-PREP grades 3-8 that qualify for a reader accommodation • Should have used other forms of Text Reader prior to spring testing • Should not be introduced just for K-PREP testing Provides for consistent administration of accommodations. Improves testing time/logistics for accommodations.

  4. During the regular scheduled K-PREP testing window for spring 2014 Students will take the same sections of the test as all other students at the same time Can be used during regular testing and make up testing When will Text Reader be used?

  5. Minimum Requirements Microsoft Windows XP or higher Apple OSX or higher CD Reader Each operating system must be capable of running Flash version 10 or higher Headphones for each student No dual screen usage What is needed to use Text Reader? What does it look like? No Tablets
