  2. Camcorders – Located in Ms. Shifflett’s closet. Must be checked out in order to use.

  3. Charging Station – A place where all camcorders need to go to when we are finished using them. Located in Ms. Shifflett’s closet.

  4. Video Converter – A device that converts RCA media to USB media so we can put our videos on the computer to be edited.

  5. Flip Camera – A small handheld video camera that hooks directly into the computer via USB

  6. Tripod – A device that holds the camcorder still and upright

  7. Microphones – Amplify the anchors’ and reporters’ voices so that they are better heard during the broadcast.

  8. Video Board – A video mixer that switches from the main camera to any other camera, DVD player, or computer. The Director mans the Video Board.

  9. Sound Board – A device that allows the broadcast to have multiple sound inputs. The Sound Engineer mans the sound board.

  10. Digital Effects Monitor – This gives the Director a preview of what transitions will look like before he/she sends them out to the live broadcast.

  11. Graphics Engineer Station Where the Graphics Engineer dictates what computer graphics go over the live broadcast.
