Tuplet Rhythms • Tuplet or Triplet rhythms are just as easy as duplets. • The only difference is a three-way division of the pulse/count rather than a duple (eighth) or quadruple (sixteenth) division http://www.drhodges.wikispaces.com
Tuplet Rhythms • We use nonsense syllables when dealing with duple or quadruple rhythm divisions and we continue this practice when dealing with tuplet or triplet divisions. • When working with tuplets, we use la le after the number, i.e. 1 la le, 2 la le, 3 la le, 4 la le. http://www.drhodges.wikispaces.com
