  2. Grade 6 Sixth graders will have: CORE CLASSES Math Science Social Studies Language Arts – Reading Language Art - Writing LUNCH SPECIALS Physical Education (Art, Music, Health) EXPLORE

  3. Physical Education/Specials • Physical Education classes and Specials meet on opposite days. • Physical Education meets every other day for the entire year • Specials are Art, Music, Health • Specials meet every other day for a trimester each.

  4. Explore Class Grade 6 • Language Arts Remediation • Math Remediation • Resource • World Language both French and Spanish (every other day – each for half the year) • Family Consumer Science (Home Arts) • Family Consumer Science ( Foods) • Computer • Technology Education (Systems Thinking) • Band, Chorus, Orchestra

  5. Grade 7 and Grade 8 Seventh and Eighth graders will have: CORE CLASSES Math Science Social Studies Language Arts LUNCH SPECIALS Physical Education (Art, Music, Health) SRBI LANGUAGE SRBI MATH

  6. Physical Education/Specials • Physical Education classes and Specials meet on opposite days. • Physical Education meets every other day for the entire year • Specials are Art, Music, Health • Specials meet every other day for a trimester each.

  7. Grades 7 & 8 SRBI Periods • There are 2 SRBI periods each day. • One for Math • One for Language Arts • SRBI stands for Scientifically Research-Based Interventions • These two periods allow a for a range of teaching and learning opportunities for both staff and students.

Grades 7 & 8 SRBI Language ArtsOfferings • Reading Remediation • Resource • World Language (French or Spanish) Every Day (offered in both grades) Every other day • Family Consumer Science (Home Arts) • Family Consumer Science ( Foods) • Media Arts • Chorus • (currently looking at other opportunities)
