According to a report from the China Department of Education; from 1978 to

2008, the total number of Chinese students that have studies outside of China

are overone million. Among them 540,000 are University students comprised

of undergraduate, graduate, PhD and post Doctoral students and visiting

scholars.

US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are the major countries where Chinese

students Choose to study.

Current Chinese Students in United States - 200,000

Canada – 35,000

Australia – 25,000

New Zealand – 20,000
