Frees, Jr. Educational Fund Open to Male High School Seniors Primary consideration will be given to those whose need is great, academic performance is high (ACT score of 22 or higher, upper 20% of his class), and who have demonstrated qualities of industry, leadership, vocational promise, and good community citizenship. The program is offering $10,500 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school. CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCAS FOUNDATION GENERAL MILLS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM $2,500 This scholarship is for students who live in the Congressional Black Caucus districts (William Clay and Emanuel Cleaver districts) who plan to continue their education in the fields of medicine, engineering, technology, nutrition or another health-related field and have financial need. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice. Students must live in a CBC district, high school senior, study in one of the above named fields at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university for the upcoming academic year, and have a minimum GPA of 2.75.
