Toy Drive... Please bring in new, unwrapped toys by December 9th. Students who participate will get 5 BB and be allowed to wear pajamas on December 16th. Dec. 15th will be craft day in our homerooms. If you are interested in coming in to help or sending in supplies, please let the homeroom teacher know. Thanks! 5th grade Curriculum News Reading: Continue Reading Contracts, Figurative Language, No Reading Story Math: SAXON Test 10 on 12/6. SAXON Test 11 on 12/13 Language Arts:  We have finished learning about all eight parts of speech.  We will begin working on Punctuation and Capitalization in the next few weeks.  We will also be working with Subject/Verb agreement. Science: Genetics Social Studies: Working on learning about immigration of the late 1800’s-early 1900’s and Spanish-American War, Panama Canal, McKinley & Roosevelt • .
