We hope you all enjoyed the time off and were able to spend quality time with your families. * With the cooler weather upon us, please make sure you have kept us informed of any changes to the Emergency Weather Information you filled out at the beginning of the year. If you need a new form, please let us know ASAP. This info can be found on page 11 of the agenda. 5th grade Curriculum News Reading: Unit 4 in Reading series, Continue Reading Contracts Math: SAXON Test 12 on Mon. 1/9. Test 13 on Thurs. 1/12 Language Arts: Punctuation and Capitalization, Begin Persuasive Writing Science: Electricity and Magnetism Social Studies: WWI • . Recess/Success Maker News: We will begin using recess time to allow students to work on Success Maker. Students who have not yet met their monthly Success Maker goals will be staying in until they reach their goal. There is a very high correlation between students meeting their goals and passing the CRCT. Please join us in encouraging the students to get on the computers any chance they get.
