British Airways has made its name just behind Easy Jet airlines with its relentless services and areas covered. It is headquartered in London, England, near Heathrow Airport. History of British Airways British Airways was previously two different airways. In 1953, Proposals to establish a joint British airline, combining the assets of the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and British European Airways (BEA), were put forward.
