Overview of DJP - Rob • Established in 1995 to promote organized and structured football and cheerleading within the community of DeWitt. • We strive to encourage all those who desire to participate to do so. • To promote the game to as many young athletes as possible. • Promote the development of the athlete as a total person including academics, sportsmanship, self- discipline, self-reliance and teamwork.

Cheerleading - Kim • Coach & Assistant – application deadline June 1st. • Team Selection • Summer Camp – August 18th 9:00 – 3:00 • Team Parent Representatives • Equipment/Uniform provided by DJP • Must be returned at end of season/clean
Health Issues - Marty • Physicals – Must be between April 15, 2010 and before the 1st day of conditioning on August 9, 2010. • IMPORTANT - Players will not be allowed to start conditioning if their physical form is not turned in. • DJP will need a COPY of both sides of your Child’s physical form. • Medication – Notify the coach Special Note – Please keep your original Physical Card. DeWitt Public Schools or other sports programs may require you to turn in a physical card for participation in their programs as well. DJP does not share your Child’s information (registration or physical card information…) with other organizations.
Equipment - Marty • Uniforms Provided by DJP • Equipment provided by players/parents • Equipment Distribution Day: July 25, 2010 3 – 6 pm – Jr. High Cafeteria-Times by Grade • Vendors on site with equipment available for purchase. • Equipment/uniforms must be returned cleaned, before the banquets.
Fundraising - Shelly • Tailgate Bash – Sunday, August 29th, 2 – 5 pm • Spirit Wear for purchase on the website • Concession Stand • 50/50 Raffle for scholarship players • Trash Bag sale for new cheerleader uniforms
