TGad Channel Model Update Date: 2010-03-17 Authors: Alexander Maltsev, Intel
Abstract This presentation gives overview of the new completed items (Sections 4, 7.3 and 7.5) for TGad channel model for enterprise cubicle environment. Description of this items can be found in new revision 07 of the TGad channel model document (11-09-0334-07-00ad-channel-models-for-60-ghz-wlan-systems). Alexander Maltsev, Intel
Inter Cluster Parameters for Enterprise Cubicle Channel Model • Statistical models for inter cluster parameters for the enterprise cubicle environment were developed using the ray-tracing simulation approach applied earlier for the Conference Room and Living Room environments. • Section 4.3 of the new revision of the TGad channel model document gives full description of TOA, AOD, AOA, and reflection loss statistical models for the enterprise cubicle environment. Alexander Maltsev, Intel
Polarization Impact Model for Enterprise Cubicle • Polarization impact model was developed for the enterprise cubicle scenario applying the same methodology as was proposed for the conference room and living room scenarios. • Statistical models for cluster polarization matrices were developed using ray-tracing simulations with polarization support. • Section 4.4 of the new revision of the TGad channel model document gives full description of proposed polarization statistical model for enterprise cubicle environment. Alexander Maltsev, Intel
Path Loss Model for Enterprise Cubicle • Path loss model for the enterprise cubicle environment was created utilizing the same approach as was used for the conference room and living room channel models. • Description of the proposed path loss model is provided in new revision of the TGad channel model document – Sections 7.3 and 7.5. Alexander Maltsev, Intel
Conclusion • Channel model for the enterprise cubicle environment is currently under development. All inter-cluster parameters of this channel model have been defined and included in the document. • Section 4.5 describing intra cluster parameters for enterprise cubicle channel model is currently TBD. This section will be completed after careful analysis of available experimental data. Alexander Maltsev, Intel
