He also believes in sharing his success and works for the betterment of the society. David Silipigno regularly donates for the local charitable causes and believes that every one should make an effort and contribute to make society a better place.

He received the ‘In the Spirit of Service Award’ from The Arthritis Foundation of NENY. He was also honored by the Albany Academy for Girls by naming their new athletic facility after him as he had donated $775,000 for the new athletic facility. It was the largest donation the Academy had ever received.
