  1. Weight Training Presentation Summarised IT Unit A4 Report and presentation made by Joshua James Brown

  2. Introduction I’ll be doing a summary and outlining some areas I’ve been working on my report. These areas will mostly include what I have included in my report such as content. source referencing and why I chose this topic and how I used this information.

  3. Weight Training Content For my report introduction weight training, I wanted to have something that had a quick general overview that was straight to the point and gives the reader a general idea what the article will be focusing on without them having to read too far ahead, so it keeps them interested as a reader. I included multiple areas of weight training that don’t just mean lifting but also progressing with weight training including nutrition's, sleepand supplements which all help with improving with your lifts and gains. I go into greater detail why these are important by highlighting how it affects you and why.

  4. Weight Training Content 2 When going to the gym or training at home, lifting the weights is most likely the easiest thing to do for you, it’s a simple task without many complications depending on your goals, in the report the focus is spread out in not just one area but multiple. My report go into detail about what you should be: Eating such as protein, carbs and natural fats before and after your training. What supplements you should be taking to maximise your performance and gains. And why sleep is important as well as having a proper schedule. All these topics in my report is what makes most of your gains, its not just about lifting weights and putting on muscle, it can only get you so far without a proper schedule and commitment.

  5. Why did I choose this topic? I chose this topic because I enjoy the gym, lifting weights and other physical sports and I have done a bit of my research on the past as a beginner so I know what I am getting myself into. With this in mind I would find it easier to find sources of information that I may already know and implement it into my report, I thought it’d be easier to do if I already have some information on this kind of topic. I also think it is misunderstood that all you got to do is lift weights and you’ll see progress, but that is only the case to an extent so I tried to include all areas that you want to be doing in order to progress and explain what these do for you.

  6. My research and sources I limited my research solely to what I believed were most beneficial to weight training, such as eating and nutrition’s, sleeping patterns, the best supplements and how to get started with training (the basics). I combined my knowledge and the research I did online to get the results I was looking for that I thought were most beneficial and informative to the reader. I used many different sources to get different but similar information so I could back up what I have said, this way it doesn’t seem untrue and I’m ensuring the reader I am stating facts through the sources.

  7. References I have ensured throughout my report and points I’ve made I have included at least one source or even multiple in the information I have provided, I have made a page specifically for references, so the reader can check themselves some of the information I have based my information on.
