  1. Organic Farming at NITTTR, Chandigarh • Weekly (Every Friday afternoon ) Workshop cum Organic Food Demonstration at NITTTR campus for the organic farmers and local organic food consumers. • It was started on 17th July 2015. Every Friday afternoon this event is being organized. About 10-15 farmers join us every week and more than 200 persons/consumers of institute and Chandigarh are benefited by the organic food (vegetables, fruits, rice, dal, aatta, honey and other food and herbal products). NITTTR has developed an Organic Farm in the campus for training of teachers and farmers.

  13. Participation of students of BE Architecture, GL Bajaj Engineering College in low cost roof construction with the help of bamboo and gunny bag for a kitchen roof top under the guidance of NITTTR, Chandigarh
