  4. Vital signsanalysis • Analysis done in 30 seconds • To stop the bleeding with compressive infill • Neurologic : Is heconscious ? N B C • Respiratory :Breathing ? There isn'tcardiacarrest if breathing • Circulation: is there pulse rate ?

  5. Neurologic • Consciousness state: • « Can you hear me ? » • « Open your eyes ! » • « Hold me the hands ! »  Answers-reacts : CONSCIOUS  Don't answers-reacts : unconscious

  6. Breathing • Chest movement analysis : • Normal • Surface • Inspiratory‘’Tirage’’ • No movement • Breathing rate : every10 seconds • Mucous color: • Rosy • Pale • Cyanotic

  7. Cardiac • Pulse rate: • Radial • Femoral • Carotid PAS > 80 PAS > 60 PAS > 40 • Pulse quality : • Valid • Weak • Absent • Frequency: • To Count every10 seconds and to multiply by 6

  8. Warning After the first vital signs analysis • To Communicate the name • To Indicate the place • Victim sex and age • Vital analysys • Acts performed

  9. Continous Surveillance • To stay near the victim • To monitor vital signs (consciousness, breathing and pulse rate ) • To Recall if change in the vital conditions
