LEBEN • Wurde als Sohn einer jüdischen Familie geboren • Studierte Journalistik in Berlin • Floh nach Machtübernahme der Nationalsozilisten erst nach Wien -> Saarland -> Paris • Traf seine Lebensgefährtin Gerta Pohorylle • Beide erfanden einen reichen Amerikanischen Fotografen = Robert Capa • Schwindel wird aufgedeckt -> Friedmann übernimmt den NamenRobert Capa • Robert dokumentiert den spanischen Bürgerkrieg • schoss das Bild des fallenden Soldaten • seine Lebensgefährtin stirbt bei einem Unfall

LEBEN • 1938 dokumentiert er Widerstand gegen die japanische Besatzung in China • 1939 übersiedelte er in die USA • 1944 ist an der Landung in der Normandy als Fotograf beteiligt • Reiste in den nächsten Jahren durch die Sowjet Union und Israel • Wird 1954 während des Indo-China Krieges von einer Landmine getötet
